Wednesday, 28 December 1994 – Alice Springs to Ayers Rock
On our morning tour we went to the major attractions including Panorama Guth, the Royal Flying Doctor Base, and Anzac Hill. Then in the afternoon we took a short flight to Ayers Rock and traveled out past “the Rock” to the magnificent Olgas, a jungle of some 30 brilliant monoliths scattered across the plains. We returned to “Sunset Strip” to see the unbelievable changing colors on Ayers Rock at dusk.
